As a manufacturer of sieves made of stainless steel, we are directly affected by the current economic situation caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine and by the increases in raw material and energy costs.

The main changes in global trade that affect us directly can be summarised as follows:

• The constant rise in the price of oil and its derivatives, which causes an unstoppable increase in transport prices, as well as complicated forecasting of logistical deliveries.
• As a direct consequence, it has also led to an increase in the daily cost of electricity.
• Rise in stainless steel, with increases in recent months of up to 40%, which we have taken on board as far as possible.
• The freeze by the LME in London on nickel trading augurs further increases in stainless steel, which some suppliers estimate at around 25% to 35% in the coming days.

Our company policy is to maintain as far as possible the prices offered, but we find ourselves in the situation of not being able to offer additional discounts, even without ruling out the possibility of an increase in our tariffs from 2022.

For this reason, we suggest that in the case of major projects you ask for a daily offer.
